The Third Annual Preakness at the Piazza is set to kick off Saturday, May 16 at the Piazza in Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties neighborhood, 1051 Hancock St. The Preakness at the Piazza celebrates charity, fashion, and sports like no other event Philadelphia has ever seen.
Girls in hats + guys in bow ties + thousands of people looking to make a difference = an event to remember
One hundred percent of the proceeds are donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Last year Preakness at the Piazza raised $117,000 from the more than 1,200 people in attendance.
Below are the Top 10 reasons you should attend Preakness at the Piazza:
1. Great Cause
I don’t know about you, but nothing makes me feel better than when I get a chance to give back. One hundred percent of Preakness at the Piazza’s proceeds are donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to help fight that horrible disease that afflicts so many Americans.
2. Girls in Hats and Guys in Bowties
Who doesn’t like getting dressed up? Get your best derby attire ready to make jaws drop. The bigger the hat and the brighter the bowtie, the more fun you will have. Be on the lookout for polka dots, cream-colored suits and plaid patterns for days.
