The former home of Fedeli’s Italian restaurant was purchased by Johnny’s Cafe next door. Shuckers Margate came to life from an old shore house restaurant and the transformation of the space is quite incredible. Fedeli’s Italian restaurant had the feeling of being in an old shore house. The aroma of rotting wood, shag carpets, and wood paneling covering the walls, but the food at Fedeli’s is what made it stand the test of time. However, the visions of Johnny’s Cafe surpassed the timeless cuisine of Fedeli’s restaurant. Johnny’s has created a small empire on Ventnor Avenue, owning Johnny’s Cafe Margate, John’s Steaks Margate, and Shuckers Margate. Shuckers Margate does not accept reservations and seating is on a first come, first serve basis. The atmosphere is casual and there is an awesome patio to enjoy your dinner or cocktails outside. There is a huge bar in the center of the space with booths that surround the bar. Locals and tourists alike love Shuckers Margate laidback beach vibe in a freshly remodeled building.

Shuckers Margate Menu

Shuckers Margate menu claims to serve the freshest seafood anywhere. The clams and oysters are shucked fresh for every order. Shuckers Margate menu is filled with several oceanic delights such as mussels, crabs, french fried lobster tails, fish of the day, and crab cakes made with no fillers. Shucker Margate menu also includes a full bar serving cocktails, frozen drinks, 10 beers on tap, bottled beers, and the famous Shuck-it-Bucket.

Shucker Margate is apart of the Johnny’s Cafe empire on Ventnor Avenue. Shuckers Margate serves some of the freshest seafood on the island in a casual, beach house setting. There are 10 beers on tap to choose or several frozen drinks on the menu. Shuckers Margate will certainly become a staple in the Margate dining scene.
