Tun Tavern is named after the original Tun Tavern built on the Philadelphia waterfront in 1685. The original Tun Tavern was located at the corner of Tun Alley and Water Street in Philadelphia. Today, that area of Philadelphia is known as “Penn’s Landing.” Tun Tavern Atlantic City pays homage to the original Tun Tavern built on Philadelphia’s waterfront in 1685. Tun Tavern is the first brew pub in Atlantic City. Atlantic City holds the prestigious distinction of having the highest quality drinking water in the nation. The water is sourced from Doughty Pond and Kuehnle Pond Dam creating two surface water acquifers with the capacity of 500 million gallons. This water is used to brew Tun Tavern’s refreshing hand crafted beers. Tun Tavern is a great place for a private event, happy hour with friends, or catch the rotating live entertainment.

Tun Tavern menu serves a casual bar food. Tun Tavern only serves the USDA certified Black Angus beef for all of their steaks, chops and burgers. Tun Tavern menu highlights including; creamy spinach and artichoke dip, blue claw fries, “Tunion” rings, seaside crab and shrimp salad, cream of crab soup, one Tun 16oz burger, Maryland crab cake sandwich, Colonial chicken club, PHD Turkey sandwich, Porterhouse Steak, chicken and shrimp marsala, Wasabi tuna steak, boardwalk crab cakes, and finish off your meal with Granny’s warm apple cobbler.
