Phở or Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of broth, linguine-shaped rice noodles, a few herbs and meat. It primarily is served with either beef or chicken with a lot of customizable options. Not everyone’s Pho preferences are the same and I’m sure a mathematician out there has calculated how many different ways you can enjoy your Pho. Sriracha is one of the most common condiments for Pho and is believed to be a huge part of the Sriracha craze going on in America. Here are a few options you have coming from Atlantic City’s biggest Pho-natic.

iPho (formerly known as Pho Cali) rests on the southern side of Atlantic City and is owned by a former casino employee. The owner will welcome you with a big smile and invite you to sit anywhere in the shop. As a regular, a simple nod from me means I don’t need a menu and within minutes my Pho is hot and ready to devour.

Com Tam Ninh Kieu

Com Tam Ninh Kieu (aka The Pink Building) sits a block from Trump Taj Mahal. The nickname is pretty self-explanatory, which makes the shop easy to spot from a distance. They recently endured a devastating fire that took out most of the businesses on that block. But now they are back online and ready to show the world the resiliency of Atlantic City.

Little Saigon
2801 Arctic Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401 – Directions

Little Saigon is my personal favorite. I have been to hundreds of Pho shops in the Tri-State area and I have yet to find one that comes remotely close to having food as delicious as this place. The shop itself is, by far, the smallest in town but the menu definitely packs a punch, with very fresh ingredients and a wall covered in awards from Zagat and local magazines. Nothing beats their Vietnamese-French pressed coffee!

Pho Sydney

Pho Sydney is, by far, the biggest and has the longest hours of operation. Sitting at the heart of Atlantic City also makes it the most accessible shop in town. It is my go-to for pick-ups and late night dining. It doesn’t hurt to have Ducktown (the most popular pub in town) right next door for a nightcap!
