Here’s our list of the top Pizza spots in and around Atlantic City. Obviously everyone has his or her own preference for pizza, so I encourage your feedback on our list. We tried to be as objective as possible. Even though we love the name, POP-a-Pizza (Ventnor), they didn’t make our list.

Sal’s Coal Fired Pizza restaurant is a full service Italian restaurant. Their pizza is the star of the show. Delicious and crispy crust seared to perfection in the 1000 degree oven.

Pizza shop with a liquor store attached. The best of both worlds. Order the buffalo chicken pizza and grab an ice cold six pack next door!

This local pizza empire has outposts in Harrahs Casino, Ballys Casino, Somers Point, Ocean City Boardwalk, Somers Point, and Egg Harbor Township. Pizza by the slice and cook to order Cheesesteaks make up the predictable but tasty menu.

Coal Fired pizza seems to be all the rage in the crowded pizza market. Carluccio’s is paving the way in the niche world of coal fired pizza in South Jersey. Only personal pies are coal fired and the Italian dinners are very tasty.

Mike Hawke’s flagship pizza joint on Oriental Avenue stands alone. Located in the barren North Inlet, Tony Boloneys thrives in a land were no other business could survive. Try the cheesesteak ole’ or try the freshly made buffalo mozzarella.

1. Tony’s Baltimore Grill
Love it or hate it, but Tony’s Baltimore Grill ranks the top of our list. It is simply a pizza that you cannot find anywhere except in this Atlantic City dive. The rest of the menu doesn’t compare to the amazingly delicious pizza. Take your leftovers home. They taste even better the next day!
